Rugby is truly a game for all: boys and girls, men and women. Below is the developmental pathway that outlines the different stages of play. Note that the non-contact versions are available throughout the USA Rugby Continuum. Chicago Wapiti RFC has elected to dedicate our first two seasons, 2011 and 2012, strictly to the non-contact game. This format enables us to focus on the entertaining elements of the game such as running, passing, teamwork, sportsmanship, and camaraderie that are the hallmarks of Rugby at all levels. In our 2013 season, we will offer contact rugby as a parallel to our non-contact program.
