James Beard Nominated Chef Michael Carlson of Schwa squares off against Chef Theo Gilbert of Ripasso in a fun culinary competition to raise awareness & program funding for the largest rugby program in Illinois, focused on youth aged 6-14.
A mixologist competition will wet the whistle (including Non-alcoholic options) while the Chefs send out dishes head-to-head using seasonal & secret ingredients competing for crowd approval and the mystery Grand Prize.
VERY Limited seating available – two suggested donation levels: $100 for the main competition or $275 for the whole shootin’ match. Start with a 4:30 meet the chefs & sneak preview of the menu, then enjoy the competition wearing special event swag, and finally sample craft beers while taking in a match afterwards at the exclusive after-party hosted at the Chicago rugby mecca, the Blackrock on Damen Ave.
